Step 3: Remove the old mesh and spline. The old spline (the rubber cord that holds the mesh in the frame channel) is pulled out, and the damaged screen comes off.
Step 4: Install the new mesh and spline. Fresh screen mesh is laid across the frame and pressed into the channel with new spline, keeping the mesh tight and even.
Step 5: Trim the excess. Extra mesh is trimmed cleanly along the edge for a neat, finished look.
Step 6: Rehang the door. The door goes back on its track, and we check that it slides smoothly.
